SIngh Badal today described the CM's announcement of his decision to

hold a rally in Lambi as " the loudest and surest proof of panic,

confusion and nervousness which mammoth gatherings at SAD's rallies

and dharnas have spread in Congress hearts and ranks,".

   But the Akali president asked the CM to announce the date as

quickly as possible he declared that the SAD  will  hold a rally in

your constituency, Patiala, on the same date and the same time as your

rally.  We want to show you how it is done."

Mr Badal said, “ I am amused and pleased that resounding success of

the SAD BJP rallies has succeeded in achieving what seemed impossible

to some: “it has forced the people-shy Captain SIngh to come out of

the Air Conditioned luxury of his palace and bungalows.  Thanks to our

rallies, the people fo Punjab may get to see the face of their Chief

Minister.

   Mr Badal said that even the  Congressmen should thank him ( Mr

Badal) for bringing  their CM out ofhis self-chosen "luxuriant and

pleasurable house-arrest.

Mr Badal said that the CM's decision to hold rally at Lambi shows how

badly shaken he and his party have been by the massive turn out at our

rallies. "he has inwittingly issued a certificate of outstanding

success to our rallies."
